E-petition – Federal Impact Assessment for the Bradford Bypass

Jan 16, 2022

A federal e-petition to the House of Commons opened January 7th that requests a Federal Impact Assessment for the Bradford Bypass. You can read the details of the petition through the link found below. Particular thanks to Leah Taylor Roy, MP for Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill, for sponsoring this.

CCKT strongly supports the request for a Federal Impact Assessment for the proposed Bradford Bypass. You may recall that CCKT, together with Stop the Bradford Bypass and FROGS, filed a formal request to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change on November 9, 2021.

By way of a federal e-petition citizens are calling upon the Minister to designate the Bradford Bypass project for a full federal impact assessment through the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada. Please sign the petition and share widely. It only takes a few minutes to fill out the required information to add your signature, and please note that you must verify your identity by email in order for it to count. We have less than 28 days, as Minister Guilbeault will make his decision on or before February 9th.
